    Tasting Notes

    Golden amber colour and light toasted aroma. Thick, creamy head with good retention. Full-bodied, firm, well-rounded pleasant flavour. Perfectly balanced bitter sweet flavour with notes of bitter-orange and a hint caramel flavour at the end.

    In 1925, the industrialists Carlos Bouvard, owner of La Moravia Company in Barcelona, and Antonio Knörr, member of a family with a long beer manufacturing tradition, visited Granada with the intention of establishing a beer factory in the city. They intended to develop their experience in beer in a local style. In order to do so, they contacted a family from Granada who were owners of some land near the San Isidro chapel in the outskirts of the city, located at the intersection of the Madrid highway and the Levante area, with a 16000 square meter area. As a result, the Cervezas Alhambra factory was built.
